Advanced Analytics: IEM proprietary software systems combine graphical images of rail cross-section profiles to compare against reference profiles and perform wheel/rail interface modeling.

Geometric Parameters: Rail head parameters are calculated automatically after laser scanning is completed using reference points on the railhead, which determine the calculations used for measurements.
