IEM has designed and manufactured ultrasonic inspection equipment for the workshop environment.These systems are designed to automatically inspect the entire wheel and axle of the wheelset for cracks and defects. The Ultrasonic Wheel Crack Detection System for the inspection of new and in-service wheels, can be upgraded to include the Ultrasonic Axle Crack Detection system for the interrogation of solid axles.
The combined system allows for an all-in-one inspection station for workshop applications, allowing for more efficient inspection - saving both time and money!
