Thermal infrared, or “heat” imaging, is one of the most powerful tools modern technology provides. Malfunctioning electrical systems, failing brakes, bad bearings, and other systems warn of their failure or impending failure by either overheating or underheating. IEM has more than a decade of experience in the design, development, and use of thermal infrared imaging systems. We have designed custom optics and our own infrared cameras, and have devised unique smart video analysis techniques suitable for use on thermal infrared video.
