In 2005, IEM entered the wireless sensor field with a vision: a miniature wireless sensor system that could assist in condition-based maintenance, but also could be deployed for almost limitless numbers of other applications in the defense, industrial, commercial, and even consumer markets.

Today, IEM’s Smart Adaptable Wireless Sensors are poised to enter multiple markets. Developed under multiple defense contracts and in cooperation with other Federal, state, and commercial partners, these smart wireless sensor nodes offer high bandwidth, ultra-low power, and flexibility of application unrivaled by any other wireless systems.
